This is a video I compiled from scenes over the past few years from my home in Santa Barbara and my backyard- the Santa Barbara Channel Islands.

Its been called the “American Galapagos” for obvious reasons.  One of my favorite spots in the world to dive.

I used it to begin the 2007/2008 Faculty Lecture at Santa Barbara City College, where I have been teaching for the past 20 years.
